I’m not here to introduce Fairphone, explain their mission, or discuss why I chose e/OS. Instead, I want to address the lack of comprehensive documentation when it comes to installing an alternative operating system on your mobile device. It’s important to note that attempting to install another OS can be risky, and if you overlook certain steps, you could potentially brick your phone. To help you navigate this process successfully, I will share the steps that have worked for me.
The first step you should take is to carefully read this guide in order to prevent bricking your phone due to the new anti-rollback feature implemented in Android.

You can do the switch manually or with the murena software “easy installer”, in this guide we’ll go threw the installer, you can find it in your ubuntu software app.
